1. How do I set up a my charity's webpage as my homepage?

If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, go to the page of the charity that you wish to support and at the top of your computer screen click the button that is called 'Tools'. You will then get a drop down list. Go down the drop down list and click on the 'Internet Options' button. A separate window will then open. In this separate window click the button that is called 'Use Current'. This will then set the page you are currently looking at as your homepage. If you are still having problems email us at support@givebyclicking.co.uk.

Once the Givebyclicking.co.uk webpage has loaded for the charity you support follow the steps and diagrams below:

1. Depending on whether you are looking for a specific shop or a certain item move your mouse either over the 'Shop >' or 'Departments >' buttons (diagram 3, below) so that a drop down list appears (diagram 4, below).

None, either for charities or for supporters.

back to questions >
9. Why?

Givebyclicking.co.uk was dreamt up because we wanted to help support more charities and provide a channel for communicating with their supporters. By building the Givebyclicking.co.uk website we have set up a system that means charities can be supported, at no cost to the supporter or charity, and therefore carry on the great work they already do. We cover the costs of running this website from our own pockets and do so to maximise the amount charities can earn.
